Being Committed.
So, lets get back on track. Things were a little off with the holiday and everything, but now we’re back at it! That is probably one of the biggest issues when it comes to staying fit and living a healthy lifestyle… LIFE!
Life makes it hard to do things right, ya know? It’s easier to eat junk food than cook a nice meal, its easier to go grab fast food for lunch all week than meal prep on Sundays. Am I right?
Hailey and I spent two hours this past Sunday meal prepping for the week, and this is the second week of doing it. It’s not easy, but its been rewarding. Here’s what we made:
2 bags of frozen mixed vegetables
10 pieces of chicken (nugget style)
3 ibs of turkey burger/onion/Worcestershire sauce all over rice
1 cup of rice
1 1/2 ibs of red potatoes
8 bags of baby carrots
Almonds/Pecans
1 tub of cottage cheese divided into individual containers (about one serving each)
also, homemade Mac and Cheese for Hailey, as well, since I try to stay away from gluten.
If you’re not in it for the long hall, you’ll find yourself ready to quit as soon as things start to get difficult. You’ve got to be determined, dedicated, and committed. Check out some of my other post to get fresh ideas and motivation on eating right.
